NTA will be conducting NEET 2019 in the same pattern. NEET 2019 will only be held once a year as per issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
National Eligibility and Entrance Test or NEET is the one examination which would be considered for filling about 54,000 medical seats across the country. As per the Supreme Court’s order in 2016, NEET would be the only examination to fill the All India Quota Seats as well as the State Level Quota seats across the country. The examination is also valid for filling the private college seats across the country.
NEET 2019 – National Testing Agency (NTA) is the conducting body of NEET 2019. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the largest entrance examination for admissions to medical, dental, and AYUSH courses in the country. NEET was introduced by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the year 2016, replacing AIPMT, as a National entrance examination held yearly for admission to medical and dental courses of the country.
NTA will be conducting NEET 2019 in the same pattern. Initially supposed to be held twice a year, NEET 2019 will only be held once a year as per a press release issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) on August 21. Also, the NTA will hold NEET 2019 in offline mode only once a year.
